Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a picnic ?
Easy! You can book directly through our website or send us a message with your preferred date, time, number of guests, and location.
We’ll confirm availability, final details, and payment info.
50% deposit is needed to secure your booking, and the remaining amount is due about a week before your picnic.
Once that’s done, all you have to do is show up, relax, and enjoy your blissful setup!
How does the picnic work ?
We’ll have everything beautifully set up at your chosen spot before you arrive. When you get there, we’ll quickly show you around the setup and can even take a few photos if you’d like! Then, we’ll leave you to enjoy your time together. At the end of your booking, we’ll return to pack everything up.
If you need to finish early, just text or call us 30 minutes beforehand so we can come back.
What happens if I spill or break something?
Small spills are fine, but please tell us if something major happens. If an item is damaged or needs dry cleaning, a small fee may apply. Broken items will need to be replaced.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own food or beverages. We also work with local platter suppliers if you’d like us to arrange something delicious for you instead. Please drink responsibly.
What if I’m running late?
Please try to arrive on time. We plan around your start time, and food is best enjoyed fresh. If you’re running late, let us know as soon as you can. Late arrivals over 30 minutes may shorten your picnic time.
How do I select a location?
If you have a favourite beach, park, or garden — perfect! Just tell us the spot. If you’re unsure, we can suggest some beautiful, easy-access locations with parking nearby. We try to set up in places that are safe, scenic, and convenient to reach.

If the weather isn’t looking great, you can move your picnic indoors or reschedule for another available day.
We’re flexible with weather changes, just try to give us at least a day’s notice.
What if the weather is bad?
Deposits are non-refundable, but you can move your picnic date once (with at least a day’s notice).
What’s your cancellation policy?
We offer picnics across selected areas in Auckland, New Zealand. If you’re unsure whether we cover your spot, just ask!
Where do you operate?
How does an indoor setup work?
For indoor or private setups, we come to your home or venue about 30–60 minutes before your picnic starts. We’ll set everything up, leave you to enjoy, and return when it’s time to pack down.
If you’d like us to arrive earlier or later, just let us know.
What if an extra guest shows up?
No stress! We can make it work, though that guest might not have a full place setting unless arranged beforehand. We recommend booking for the total number of guests you expect, but we totally understand last-minute additions.
